Can you add a border to my prints?

You betcha! We only add borders upon request, though.

Request your specific border width in the Order Notes.

We maintain the print size you purchase by reducing your image to a smaller size, which allows us to add the border and still retain your designed dimensions. For example, if you order an 8x10 with a 1/2" border we will make your image 7" x 9" and add a 1/2" border, which gives you the 8x10 size you ordered originally.  Keep in mind that downscaling your image usually means that two sides will be cropped in a bit. Anything near the edges could be cut off.

Deckled prints with borders have standard border sizes unless you specifically request something different.

4x4 to 5x7 have a 1/2" border

6x9 to 11x14 have a 3/4" border

Larger than 11x14 have a 1" border

Due to the nature of hand deckling, we do not recommend a border on sizes smaller than 4x4.
