Can I get a sample before I order?

Sure! We know that printing for the first time or printing large images can be a little nerve-wracking! We offer both test prints and artist proofs.

For test prints, you will email us a 5x7 image file saved at 300ppi. We will then print that image on all eight papers that we offer. They will be sleeved individually with a paper name sticker on the back of each. Test prints are a great way to see how your edits work on the different papers.

For artist proofs, you will email us a 5x7 image file saved at 300ppi. You can either send us the entire image at 5x7 or can send us a 5x7 portion at scale to double check your sharpness. We will take that file into Lightroom or Photoshop and apply four different edits. We typically do a lighter edit, a darker edit, a warmer edit, and a cooler edit. How we have edited that image is then printed on the image itself so that you know how to duplicate it. You will receive the original file and the four edits printed on the paper of your choice so that you may compare them. We can also print them on canvas. Artist proofs are a great way to see how your final image will print before ordering a large or expensive print or frame.
